The choreographer of this piece requested several shades of brown mesh and lots of movement. After watching a rehearsal, I decided circle-and-a-half skirts were definitely the right choice for all the leg extensions in the choreography. Our costume shop built 20 sleeveless dresses, which I dyed in batches of four.
