Aside from choreographing moments of actual physical intimacy, a major task in this production was to guide the young actors through protocols for creating a general sense of "naughtiness" in the Kit Kat Club. These student actors were initially hesitant to initiate moments of touch even after discussing personal boundaries, fences, and gates. The final result was successful, but did require more step-by-step choreography to support the emotional needs of the company.
